Safety and Standards
Check that the clinic or hospital holds a valid operating license, that the practicing doctor holds the relevant specialist qualification, and that there's a plan in place for handling complications.
Aftercare
Ask in advance whether you can contact the same facility if problems arise after the procedure, and whether they offer remote consultations for patients who have already returned to Laos.
